Upon viewing the recent blockbuster hits at the local Lowes Garden cinema 7-13, those being “Starsky and Hutch” and “The Passion of Christ” Nick Garcia contemplated for several days on the comparable hilarity of each. “When it comes to comedies, I’m the sharpest nail in the cross” he said from his toilet early Tuesday morning unaware of his extremely ironic comment. “Don’t get me wrong, Mel Gibson rocked my world in “What Women Want” and lets not over look a little movie called “Payback” but even though I cracked a smirk more than once during “The Passion” I can’t help but prefer the comedic stylings of director Todd Phillips. I mean sure “The Passion” showed us the whacky misadventures of God’s only son and the kooky characters he came into contact with but “Starsky and Hutch” brilliantly combined the genius of Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Vince Vaughn, and Snoop Doggy Dog. Jesus Christ it was a good movie!”
